Magnesium is needed for activation of enzymes involved in neuromuscular contractions, cardiac function, and regulation of the acid-base balance in the body. Magnesium also is necessary for metabolism of carbohydrates, amino acids and fats and for utilization of Calcium, Phosphorus, Sodium, and Potassium.

Each 11,000mg serving contains 1,750mg of elemental Magnesium. Servings based on an average horse weight of 1000 lbs.
